Metalphoto was developed for the U.S. Navy and is suitable for use in extreme environments. It is the most economical alternative among outdoor metals. Letters, lines and photos are not raised but impregnated into the pores of the smooth metal surface creating a permanent, scratch resistant image. Metalphoto plaques in outdoor environments should maintain their integrity for 20 years or more before the image begins to fade due to ultraviolet rays.
